Josh is a native of Commerce, Georgia.  He graduated from Auburn University and received a commission in the United States Marine Corps in June 1996.  Throughout his Marine Corps career, Josh has served as a naval aviator, accumulating over 1000 hours of flight time, and an intelligence officer.  Of note, he served as the Officer-In-Charge of the Economic and Political Intelligence Cell in Helmand Province Afghanistan, the Director of Academics at the Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center in Bridgeport, California, and the Deputy Assistant Chief of Staff at Force Headquarters Group in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Josh's wife, Molly, is from Olympia Washington.  Josh and Molly have two boys, Cooper, age 7, and Cody, age 5.  Josh and Molly enjoy splitting their time between the Southeast and the great Northwest.
